Raised near the border in the English county of Herefordshire but going to school in Wales, I returned to live in the wonderful area of the Welsh marches over ten years ago. I studied Modern History at Oxford University and went on to become a teacher. I’m a former Church in Wales (Anglican) Licensed Lay Minister.
When asked what I do or how I might describe myself I would say that I am a long-distance walker and contemporary pilgrim. However, I often now add that I am exploring a vocation as a missional historian.
I am married to Martin and between us we have five adult children and a growing number of grandchildren.
